I brought in the buyers for my listing at Waikomo Streams Villas #101. This was the last fee simple 1 bedroom unit in Poipu left under $300,000! The bottom price for a 1 bedroom fee simple unit now has been raised to $339,000 for a unit at Prince Kuhio. Waikomo Streams 101 is 996 square foot 1 bedroom 1 bath condo was listed at $198,000. Sold furnished and has a ton of upgrades.

Kiahuna Plantation Unit #426. Garden View Unit located in building #41 in the middle floor of this three story building.
The lowest priced condo in Poipu is a listing that our office just activated. Kiahuna Plantation (LH)#426 just got listed for $119,000. This is a Garden View unit that is being sold fully furnished and is in an active vacation rental program. If you want more details on this unit contact me.
Island wide last week we had a pretty even amount of properties that came on the market, sold and went under contract. At the Kauai Beach Resort we now only have 8 condos that are for sale, I can remember when there was literally a page full of them. Now the lowest priced condo is $43,500 for a unit way in the back and the days on market are getting shorter and shorter. These were originally hotel rooms that got converted over to fee simple condos at the height of the market and their prices erroneously spiked into the 300′s and 400′s when frenzied speculation began. Now I noticed that one owner at the Kauai Beach Resort bought last year for $23,000 and she is re-selling at $43,500 and she’ll get it too.

These new flights will be starting around the first week of June of this year.

Thousands Stranded As Air Australia Grounds Itself
Thousands of travelers are stranded when budget airline Air Australia announced that it’s grounding itself based on the fact that they can’t pay their bills. Based in Brisbane Air Australia left 4,000 passengers stranded overseas with their return tickets in hand and no plane to fly home on. If they have travel insurance they may be given a refund.
Hawaiian Airlines stepped in and are offering special “Rescue Tickets” for $300.00 until March 1, 2012. All taxes and fees are included in this offer. People can fly home on this one way ticket and to get this offer they must produce their now useless Air Australia ticket or itinerary.
