Kiahuna Plantation Real Estate Update- Sold |  Kiahuna Plantation #123  $580,000 (LH)
The renovations that this unit has are just fantastic and what I appreciate the most is they are as functional as they are lovely.  I loved watching people’s eyes light up when they would walk into this unit because they just didn’t expect to see such nice white water ocean views.  If you missed out on this unit I do have one for sale right next to it and the views are just as lovely, for information on that unit click here;  Kiahuna Plantation Unit #122.  For an update on the Kiahuna Plantation real estate activity click here;  Kiahuna Plantation Current Market Analysis

Kauai Pickle Ball Lovers Get New Store!
Full disclosure;  I have not played pickle ball and I’m almost hesitant to try because it looks addicting given the solid fan base for this sport!  Entering this market is “Picklers Paradise” which is a shop in Lihue that is dedicated to all things Pickle Ball.  Located in Lihue they are going beyond providing the essentials needed to play the game.  This is a spot where you can also connect with fellow enthusiasts.  They are open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information here is their website;  Picklers Paradise

Visitors Rescued While Kayaking
The “Kona Low” that settled over our state last week wrecked a kayak trip for a couple of visitors, fortunately everything ended well.  While the Kona Low system is not a new one for us it’s not common for this to happen during May, the last time is did was 2002.  This storm parked itself over our state and the rain was pretty consistent which caused unstable conditions for our rivers.
Two visitors from Tennessee found this out while kayaking on the Hanalei River when the river rose and they lost contact with their kayaks.  The Kauai Fire Department was called and they found the kayakers clinging to vegetation along the Hanalei River.  They were rescued and are in good condition.

Cirque du Soleil Coming to Oahu
I’ve seen 5 of the 6 Cirque du Soleil shows in Las Vegas and I’m just such a big fan (my favorite the Beatles one “Love”).  So, I was excited to see that they will be starting a new show in Oahu on December 15, 2024 at the Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber.  The theater can seat 784 people and is currently being custom designed for this production.
When I went to the website the show is described as; “A new dawn of live entertainment rises in Ê»Auana by Cirque du Soleil – a Hawai‘i-inspired production featuring a cast of powerful acrobats, hilarious comedians, talented musicians and singers, and profound hula dancers. The unheralded ensemble brings together international and local talents to shine a fresh light on the spirit of Hawai‘i. Only at the OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel.”
You can start buying tickets for either their 5:30 or 8:30 shows by going to their website; ʻAuana by Cirque du Soleil
