Three Pedestrians Injured In Poipu
Three people that were walking on Ho’owili Road, which is the road that is off of Poipu Road going to the beach, were hit at 8 p.m. on Sunday night. They were walking on the northbound shoulder of the road and were hit by a Ram Truck that was on the road going south. The driver crossed the center line and hit a man and a woman both 43 years old and a child. All were taken to Wilcox where the adults had serious injuries and the child was treated and released.
The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
Oahu, Maui and Big Island Real Estate 2024 vs 2025
The first 11 months of real estate data for the islands of Oahu, Maui and the Big Island and in for us to compare how they are doing compared to this same time last year.
Oahu and Kauai are up in the number of homes sold and Kauai is the only island with a drop in the Median Price for a home. Breaking that Kauai data down: For the first 11 months of 2024 there were 330 homes that sold and one was Leasehold. First 11 months of 2025 there were 386 homes sold with 18 of those being Leasehold. This is skewing the Median Price for Kauai.
For condominiums the number of sales are down across the board Statewide but, Kauai is the only island where the overall Median Price is up.
